Is there a secret entrance at the Louvre?
The Louvre's main entrance is the pyramid in the courtyard. Louvre Porte des Lions entrance. Far less busy at the third and fourth locations on my list, the spots often referred to as the legendary "Secret entrances to the Louvre". One of them is the entrance at Passage Richelieu (off Rue Rivoli).
Do you need reservations for the Louvre?

How do I skip the line at the Louvre?
TL/DR: YOU DO NOT NEED PRINTED TICKETS. PDF TICKETS ON PHONE WORK FINE! I bought 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 kids) through my computer (Louvre website www.louvre.fr/en) this week. After the purchase, I downloaded the tickets in PDF format, and emailed the PDF to myself, so I could have the PDF on my cell phone.
Photography. You can take photos and videos in the permanent collections if they are for personal use. However, you are not allowed to use selfie sticks, flash or lighting. In the temporary exhibition galleries, it may be prohibited to take photos or videos of certain works.
You can enter the Louvre directly through the glass pyramid itself, or through the Carrousel du Louvre, an underground shopping/restaurant area that connects to the pyramid.
To enter the museum you will need to have booked a ticket with a time-slot, this includes anyone eligible for free admission. All visitors to the Louvre aged 12 years and 2 months or older must now show a Health Pass. All visitors aged 11 and over must wear face masks.
Practical details for evening visits to the Louvre
The Louvre Museum in Paris is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm every day except Tuesdays. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the museum closes at 9:45 pm. Some galleries may start closing at 9:30 pm, so plan accordingly.
Admission is free to the Musée du Louvre and the Musée Eugène-Delacroix for the following visitors (valid proof required): all visitors under the age of 18 and 18-25 year-old residents of the European Economic Area (EU, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) holders of a valid 'Pass Education' card.
